Finally, finished book 2 and moving on to the next and last one

I have finished reading The Girl Who Played with Fire. I enjoyed reading the book and I did not want to put it down. There is a scene in the book, which makes me laugh aloud for several minutes. I woke my husband up I laughed so hard. I read the scene to him and he laughed too. 90-pound Lisbeth, beats up two bikers in the scene.
Guess what, I made a prediction and I was correct. Ronald is Lisbeth’s brother. We even meet her loving, nurturing dad (NOT!). In this novel, we find out all about Lisbeth’s childhood and the reason she spends three years in a mental institution. At the end of the novel Lisbeth has been shot three times and one of the bullets is in her head. She is found by Kalle Blomkvist.
I read the bio on The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest, the last book in the trilogy, and it begins with Lisbeth being in a hospital, fighting for her life and if she survives, she will have to stand trial for three murders. Okay, we know there is an American idiom for dying termed “kicked the bucket,” so I wonder will Lisbeth actually die and that is the meaning of the title.
Lisbeth is a master computer hacker and her online name is Wasp. In the first book, she had a wasp tattoo but had it removed. Okay, I know, there I go again making predictions, but if you are not making predictions you are not enjoying a book, but if the book is too predictable you may be bored with it. I will read the last book and let you all know what I think. I have The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest, on hold at my local library.
Happy Reading and Writing,
J

The Girl Who Played With Fire

The Girl Who Played With Fire

I am more than halfway through the book and it definitely has my interest and I am still making predictions but most of the time my predictions are incorrect. Sometimes it is hard to keep all the names of the characters straight. It is also challenging to say some of the names of the characters that are in Swedish. This book is a really good read and it is keeping my interest.

Oh by the way, I will give you more details when I finish the book.

There is a third book in the series, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. I will probably read that one too.

The Girl Who Played With Fire

A murder has been committed, which makes a mystery interesting. I am only half way through the book so I know there are going to be many twists and turns yet to unravel. I am strating to make predictions; therefore I am engaged.

I am on vacation and forgot my Kindle so I cannot read Romeo and Juliet.

Readers and Writers: What I am still reading

Readers and Writers: What I am still reading

What I am still reading

I am still reading Romeo and Juliet but I decided to read the modern version. I am also reading The Girl Who Played With Fire. I read the first book the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo several months ago. It was a long book but a great read. It did not disappoint as a mystery.

Have I mentioned that the mysteries by Walter Mosley are among my favorite? I have read all three mysteries featuring his new sleuth Leonid McGill and I look forward to a new one.

In addition, I anxiously await a new book by Eric Jerome Dickey in his series featuring Gideon. I was on another blog and the question at hand was who would be a good actor to play Gideon in a movie. I vote for Idris Elba.

Happy Reading,

J
